AUDITION ONLY
Applause Players: Applause’s theater group works weekly starting in October to put on a spectacular full-length musical come Spring. Under the current direction of Oceana Marie Dunsire, students learn character development, various acting techniques, dance routines, and vocal training. Ages 8 to 18.
Competition Team: Competition Team is for the committed dancer who wants to push their abilities to the limit. These students work hard learning platinum level choreography to compete against the best hip hop crews in the area. A required convention allows dancers to work with leading names in the dance industry and expand their repertoire. All dancers must be enrolled in Hip Hop to be eligible to audition.
Performance Team: This is the optimal team for a student who loves to sing, dance and perform. The performance team creates its own 45 minute variety show which includes all types of dance styles and musical numbers. The prestigious performers on this team learn at least four different highly entertaining routines in one class from different instructors that challenges both their dance technique and vocal abilities. All dancers must be enrolled in Ballet and/or Tap to audition.
PRESCHOOL LEVEL CLASSES

Watch them twirl and spin on their tippy toes while they explore movement and make friends. Ages 3-5.
Li’l Music Experience: Music, movement, and fun. We work on strength, coordination, and balance through all types of dance, from ballet to tap. PRIVATE LESSONS
Voice: In these lessons, students will learn vocal technique, ear training, music theory, rhythm, and songwriting. We will talk about proper vocal care as well as learning to sing with a healthy sound! We will do a combination of songs that the instructor will assign and songs that the student chooses each week, while continuing to work on technique. Students will be given access to a Google slide link that they can revisit at any time to see the weekly lesson plan, homework, and games that the instructor will update after every lesson so that students can stay up to date on all of the things they do inside of the lessons.
Piano: Through games, dancing, and critical listening/thinking, students will learn music theory, ear training, composition, and sight reading/reading sheet music. We believe that everyone learns differently and has so much creativity, so we try to tailor the curriculum for each lesson towards the individual we are teaching. In the lessons, the student and instructor will take turns choosing songs to work on. We feel it is really important to give structure and learn new material, but to also learn material that the students will enjoy and engage with while continuing to learn the technical portion of music making. Students will be given access to a Google slide link that they can revisit at any time to see the weekly lesson plan, homework, and games that the instructor will update after every lesson so that students can stay up to date on all of the things they do inside of the lessons.
